Although strictly speaking Neighbourhood Watch is no longer active in the village, I have been asked by Adnoddau Henllan Resource to post the following under the NW banner, which I hereby do. Be vigilant, folks!
TOP PARK TOILETS
The toilets at the Top Park recreation field, Ty Coch Street, Henllan have recently been renovated and upgraded following a three year campaign to ensure their retention.
These works were carried out for the benefit of the village to permit the use of the building for toilet facilities during community events. The monies used were from a Denbighshire County Council community fund sourced on behalf of – Adnoddau Henllan Resource – a village group dedicated to the retention and reopening of the facility.
They are provided for all community events in or about the Top Park area. THEY ARE NOT HOWEVER OPEN AT ALL TIMES.
We have recently become aware that children have been seen playing on the roof since completion. THIS BEHAVIOUR MUST STOP. Any damage caused could result in the project being abandoned with the result that the County Council will resort to its original intention and demolish the building.
We seek your co-operation in maintaining this facility and ensuring that vandalism and mindless behaviour do not destroy our hard earned efforts.
If you see anyone acting inappropriately on or about the building then please inform the Police Community Beat Manager immediately on: 0766 781 392.
Or report the incident via the Henllan website: Henllan.com/Local Clubs>Henllan Resource.

Points to Ponder:
· Trespass is not a legitimate activity.
· Accident or injury to persons involved can result and no obligation can be placed on the lease holder/operator of the facility.
· The roof looks solid, but is only designed to withstand weather not bouncing bodies.
· Nothing is stored in the building.
· Any damage caused will be attributed to all involved and parents will be billed for any damage.
· Please help in keeping the building secure.
