A Taster session has been arranged for the new Youth Bus to visit Henllan on November 24th at 6.30p.m. at Henllan Centre.

The bus is brand new and has been fitted out with IT equipment etc.

It is to be available throughout the County for 12 to 18 year olds and the more interest there is the better the chance of it coming to Henllan on a regular basis.

Sounds like a potential village assett. Assuming this info came via the CC, perhaps a member could persuade Vanessa to advertise it in the shop. The more youngsters get to hear of it, the better.

I believe CC Kevin has advertised it in the shop already.

The only downside to this is that the bus is only going to be available for 3 days a week and it has to serve the entire county, so we will need to wait and see what the scheduling will allow for regular visits.

3 Dates have been set for the Youth Bus to visit Henllan;

Tuesday 26th January - 6.30 - 8.30 p.m.

Tuesday 2nd February - 6.30 - 8.30 p.m.

Tuesday 9th February - 6.30 - 8.30 p.m.

That's a very promising frequency. Is anyone taking any steps to see that our youth actually know about it?

Do we know what happened last night? Did the bus arrive, and did any of our youth attend it? Was it a success? Who, if anyone, is acting as our link to this service? I'm not suggesting that anyone specific (Like Les, who has given us these helpful reports) should be doing it, but if someone doesn't get a grip of it, it'll fizzle.
