Mission Statement.

The Henllan Community and Leisure Association is a not-for-profit organisation encouraging a friendly and helpful community for everybody within the parish of Henllan.

It is the intention of the association to provide opportunities to promote friendship and community spirit via activities and events for the benefit of all individuals and groups within the parish.

The Henllan Community & Leisure Association raises funds, predominantly from social events, but also from within the village and surrounding area to support various events for the enjoyment of all.

Bwriad y Gymdeithas yw darparu cyfleoedd i hybu cyfeillgarwch a naws gymunedol drwy weithgareddau a digwyddiadau er lles pob unigolyn a grwpiau yn y plwyf.
Mae Cymdeithas Gymunedol a Hamdden Henllan yn codi arian, yn bennaf drwy ddigwyddiadau cymdeithasol, ond yn ogystal yn y pentref a’r cyffiniau i gefnogi digwyddiadau amrywiol er mwynhad pawb.

COME AND JOIN US

The HCLA is a non-profit making organisation which encourages a friendly and helpful community to all within the parish of Henllan. This is achieved by providing opportunities to promote friendship and community spirit via events and activities such as the Village Extravaganza and the Bonfire and Firework event in November.

The HCLA raises funds, predominately from social events, but also from within the village and surrounding area. Any monies raised are solely used to fund the next event or events by other groups that require moral, physical or funding support.

To enable these events to take place we urgently need new members to either join the Committee or just help out at any of the events and clean up. Young and not so young, everyone welcome. Contacts

Henllan Extravaganza and Parti in the Parc 2011

Many thanks for all who supported the most successful Henllan Extravaganza yet. Every year this event has gone from strength to strength with ever increasing loyal supporters.

There were old and new main ring attractions this year which were welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed by the crowd.

Many thanks to the exhibitors of the classic cars, the emergency services, TA Truck, trade stall holders, Car Booters and all the community organisations who took part. Your support is always appreciated.

Next year we are moving the Henllan Extravagansa to Saturday 7^th July. Please make a note of the date in your diaries.

Our thanks to all the volunteers who helped preparing for the event, helped during the day and came back again the following day to help with the clear up. Without you all we couldn’t hold this event. Thank you very much.

Due to the lack of support it has been agreed that we will regrettably not be hosting another evening event. Thank you to all who have supported Parti in the Parc over the last 4 years.

A collection was made during the day for the Emmy Taylor Appeal Fund. A total of £170.15 was raised. Thank you to all who donated.
